Some are already en-route to Glastonbury; some are off to the Wimbledon Tennis this weekend. While as much as I love music and enjoy strawberries and cream, I’ve decided maybe it’s another Foodie festival I need. Located in the vibrant area in London, Soho always has so much to offer. This Saturday, 25th June and for one day only, the Soho Food Feast will be serving up some of the best dishes in the West End.

Family friendly with activities for children, wine bar, cabaret and prizes to be won, it will be a great garden party. The best bit is it’s for a great cause, so have a great time and help raise funds for the Soho Parish Primary School.

Tickets from £4 to £6.50. Children under 12 free.

Saturday 25th June 1pm – 6pm St. Anne’s Garden, Wardour Street, Soho

It’s not always about hitting the trends all the time; I am a firm believer of how you wear it and not what you wear. Of course in saying that there is no harm in wearing something so well and it being a trend of the season. ‘Killing two birds with one stone’ the saying goes.

Want to know how ESSKA can help you do that? Well its really easy as 1,2,3…

We’ve all seen brightly coloured footwear being a big trend this SS11. We at ESSKA have never been shy of colours, in fact we embrace it! The SS11 season is no change, expect to find a rainbow of colours in a range of styles. It’s great to add a pop of solid colour to complete your look, or to make things really interesting, footwear with contrasting colours which only means one thing; be prepared for shoe envy!!

We recommend our style ‘ZOOM’ in Teal & Red for that ultimate shoe buy of the season! But be quick, we only have less than a handful left.

When it’s gone it’s gone….

There is only one place to be this weekend, Taste of London festival. From today until Sunday 19th June, you can find many of London’s top restaurants all in one place for you to devour their mouth-watering dishes. Amongst the endless list of restaurants expect to find Michelin star restaurants such as Benares (Indian cuisine), my personal favourite Le Gavroche (French) (even met the man himself Michel Roux Jr when I went last time) and other top restaurants such as The Ritz and Fino (Spanish) who some of you may recognise as one of the finalists of Ramsey’s Best Restaurant TV programme.

Taste of London festival never fails to surprise me, it just gets better and better every year. With new features this year, expect even more fun. For those of you like me, that break out a huge smile even at the mention of the word ‘cake’, you’ll be smiling nonstop at the new baking theatre ‘Le Patisserie’ with top chefs demonstrating their baking skills. I am extremely excited about master patissier Eric Lanlard demonstrating a few of his baking tricks. Aka cakeboy will also be holding a book signing too.

With a range of tickets, prices from £22 to £95 there is a ticket for everyone. The festival uses its own currency called ‘crowns’ (which makes it even more fun), you can purchase these online or at booths on the day. Book a ticket today without delay and expect lots of eating, drinking and hopefully lots of beautiful sunshine, fingers crossed. I’ve got mine so see you there!!
